GDL UK Painting was approached by Bolton Wanderers Football Club to carry out an end-of-season painting programme for the main stadium and training ground facilities, as well as the hospitality areas at BWFC.

The work consisted of refreshing the internal decorations of the players and office areas at the club’s training ground facilities, which are located a short distance from the club’s main stadium.

• Stage one painting programme
  The end-of-season painting programme included applying two coats of Johnson’s Cova plus emulsion and one coat of Johnson’s undercoat and gloss topcoat to refresh the decorations of any ceilings – walls, and woodwork to the players’ changing rooms and shower areas along with the painting of various internal corridors and offices.

• Stage two painting programme
  Painting included painting out in epoxy resin all nosing of all concrete steps to all supporters’ stand areas. Any nosing across all concrete steps was painted out in a safety yellow colour to ensure any supporter had a clear line of sight to the face of any steps when descending or climbing any concrete steps to any of the supporters’ stands.

• Stage three painting programme
  Further work included refreshing the decorations in the club’s hospitality areas, including the club’s stadium hotel.
